Centennial Contractors Enterprises, Inc. would like to express their appreciation for your attentive measures and efforts in helping to make the Mason District Park Amphitheatre Reconstruction project a success. The Dedication Services kicked off the use of the amphitheatre on 6/5/05 as scheduled without any delays. Your efforts, as part of the entire project team, helped to make the entire job a success and CCE would like to thank Simpson Burke. We look forward to working more with you on future projects!
Simpson Burke did a tremendous job demolishing and replacing the loading platform at the Amtrak Lorton Train Station! They performed the work at night in a heavy traffic area, while catering to railroad passengers. They also maintained a very aggressive schedule despite the many unknown site conditions and administrative requirements to work off the platform on railroad tracks. Best of all, Joe and James Simpson were professional and gentlemen in all their dealings with the Amtrak and Doyon personnel on site. They lead by example.
Simpson Burke had great quality workmanship in excavation and concrete project tasks. Very realistic schedules were provided and maintained throughout the project. They worked well with Prime Contractors and end user / owners as well.
Simpson Burke’s team was personable, hands-on, and easy to deal with. They kept pace with and managed the schedule to fall in line with the overall requirements of the project, without issue.
Simpson Burke takes great pride in producing quality work. We never have to concern ourselves with their final product. They communicate very well during pre-con, construction, and closeout processes.
Simpson Burke’s office and field personnel were great to work with! They performed the work on time and put in the extra effort to meet the schedule, and had good quality control measures in the field. Pricing for the overall project was competitive and change order pricing for additional work was fair and reasonable.
I highly recommend Simpson Burke for their concrete construction workmanship and overall performance as a General Contractor. Mr. Simpson and his men have completed jobs for this office that include the Virginia Department of Transportation and the United States Park Service. The work included heavily loaded, structurally framed concrete slabs and foundation walls. The concrete work they constructed was totally free of honey-combing or voids. There was a minimal amount of cracking and the finishing was also excellent!
